The Mind of the Lord
Who has known the mind of the Lord,
that he may instruct
Him?
But we have the mind of Christ.
1 Corinthians 2:16
Who wouldn’t want to know the mind of the Lord,
to have the mind of the Lord
who created all things by simply speaking?
Who created each person in His image.
Genesis 1:27
He spoke and it was done.
He commanded and it stood firm. Psalm 33:6,9
God is greater than our hearts
and knows all things. 1 John 3:20
3
The word of God is the mind of Christ,
infinite and eternal, because He is infinite and eternal.
The more of the holy scriptures we know,
the more of His mind we have active inside our heart
to make our thinking and His the same.
Can two walk together unless agree?
Amos 3:3
All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for correction,
for instruction in righteousness:
4
that the man of God may be perfect,
thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:16, 17
(Thoroughly furnished. It’s all we need.)
Paul, to those in Christ Jesus,
called to be saints, with all in every place
that call on the name of Jesus,
that in everything you are enriched by Him,
Who holds you firmly to the end,
so you will be blameless
in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
5
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men;
and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1 Corinthians 1:26
God chose the weak things of the world
to confound the mighty,
so that no one will boast in His presence.
Only He is infinite and eternal love, power, beauty,
holiness, wisdom, grace and every good thing,
He is the Source, the fountain of it all.
And of Him we are in Christ Jesus,
6
who of God is our wisdom, and righteousness,
and sanctification, and redemption.
God is faithful who called you to be with Him,
in His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
So be perfectly joined together in the same mind.
For I hear there are divisions among you.
Was Paul crucified for you? Or anyone else?
For the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those perishing,
but to us who are saved it is the power of God.
7
All power is given to me in heaven and in earth,
Jesus said in Matthew 28:18.
God made foolish the wisdom of this world.
For by the wisdom of the world they did not know God.
For the foolishness of God is wiser than men.
He knows everything.
And the weakness of God is stronger than men,
He is all power.
That your faith would not stand
8
in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery,
ordained before the world to our glory.
Eye hasn’t seen or ear heard,
or entered the heart of man,
the things which God has prepared for those that love him.
But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit:
for the Spirit searches all things, the deep things of God.
Who has known the mind of the Lord,
9
that he may instruct Him?
But we have the mind of Christ.
But among you is envy and strife, saying,
I am of Paul or of Apollos.
Who are we but servants through whom you believed?
I planted, Apollos watered;
but God gave the increase.
The one that plants isn’t anything or one that waters,
but God that gives the increase.
We are workers together with God.
I laid the foundation (Christ),
10
and another builds on it.
But let every man watch what he builds:
gold, silver, precious stones, (God’s word and Spirit)
or wood, hay, stubble (works of pride and the old self),
because it will be revealed by fire;
the fire will test every man's work showing what sort it is.
If a man's work remains, he will receive a reward.
If it is burned, he will suffer loss:
but he himself will be saved; yet so as by fire.
11
Don’t you know that you are the temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God dwells in you.
If you defile the temple of God,
you destroy yourself,
because the temple of God is holy.
Let no man deceive himself,
for the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.
The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise,
that they are empty and self-centered.
But I created you for My glory,
I made you. Isaiah 43:7
12
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;
that being rooted and grounded in love,
you will know with all saints
how infinitely wonderful He is
and be filled with all the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:17-19
So don’t be in awe of men.
For all things are yours
and you are Christ’s
and Christ is God’s.
The counsel of the Lord stands for ever,
the thoughts of His heart to all generations.
Psalm 33:11
13
Holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners,
and made higher than the heavens;
by one offering He has perfected forever
those that believe in Him. Hebrews 7:26, 10:14
Come to Me,
all that labor and are loaded down,
and I will give you rest.
Join with Me and learn of Me
for I am humble and low in heart:
and you will find rest for your souls.
What I require is easy and light.
14
Ones that overcome will sit with Me on My throne.
Revelation 3:21
Come, share My eternal glory,
it’s what I made you for,
to love you with My everlasting love.
It’s what I died for. Jeremiah 31:3
To know Him is life eternal. John 17:3
The Lord your God in the midst of you is mighty;
He will save.
He will rejoice over you with joy;
He will rest in His love.
He will joy over you with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17

To Know Him is Life Eternal
Eternal Warrior
The Battle is the Lord’s
As Jesus was casting out a devil
that made a man unable to speak, some said,
He casts out devils through the chief of the devils.
Jesus exposed that lie, and then said,
If I, with the finger of God cast out devils,
the kingdom of God has come to you.
Luke 11:15, 20
Since the first sin in Eden
the Lord has been at war against evil.
His name ‘Lord of hosts,’ hosts means armies.
3
He is Lord of all the countless armies
of beautiful angels of light in the heavens:
In making mankind in His image, Genesis 1:27,
from His love, 1 John 4:8,
not willing that any perish,
but that all turn back to Him,
and sit with Him on His eternal throne,
ruling with Him through endless ages to come, (Revelation 1:5,6) God is displaying to all the universe what evil is.
4
The Lord sent man from Eden
to work the ground for his food
to humble his heart
so he would turn back to God,
who alone is life.
Some follow evil and just steal.

killing and stealing.
When Abram heard his brother, Lot, was captured,
he armed his 318 trained servants, pursued, and recovered all.

6
Joshua fell on his face to the ground
and worshipped saying,
What do you say to your servant?
He said, Take off your shoes for the place you stand
is holy.’ Joshua 5:13-15
At Jesus’ birth,
in that country shepherds were staying in the field,
guarding their flock by night.
And behold, the angel of the Lord came upon them,
and the glory of the Lord surrounded them:
and they were terrified.
7
The angel said, Don’t be afraid,
I bring you news of great joy for all people.
For to you is born today a Savior,
who is Christ the Lord, i.e. the one who has all
the power in the universe. Luke 2:8-11
The Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.
1 John 3:8
When Mary was found to be with child
by the Holy Spirit
the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream saying,
8
that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
She will bring forth a son,
and you will call His name Jesus:
for He will save His people from their sins.
Matthew 1:18-21
Who His own self bore our sins
in His own body that we, being dead to sins,
would live to God. 1 Peter 2:24
But this Man,
after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever,
sat down on the right hand of God,
having perfected forever

those that believe. Hebrews 10:12-14

Now is the judgment of this world:
now the prince of this world will be cast out.

will draw all men to Me.

with great power and glory.
Mark 13:25-27
Heaven opens and behold, a white horse;
and He that sits on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness
He judges and makes war.
His eyes are as a flame of fire,
and on His head are many crowns:
King over all kings.
11
And out of His mouth goes a sharp two edged sword,
the word of God;
and with it He strikes the nations:
He will rule them with a rod of iron,
infinite strength;
and He treads the winepress of the fierceness
and wrath of Almighty God,
against all the harm and ruin of evil.
His name written:
King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.
Revelation 19:11-16

tormented day and night forever and ever.
Revelation 20:10
Why do the nations rage?
The kings of the earth set themselves against the Lord,
and against His anointed.
14
He that sits in the heavens laughs at this.
Then He speaks to them in His wrath.
I have set My king on My holy hill.
The Lord said to me, You are My Son.
I will give You the nations for Your inheritance.
Be wise therefore, you other kings.
Serve the Lord with fear.
Rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son so He won’t be angry
and you perish.
Blessed are all that put their trust in Him.
